For 2008/09 season all players are required to be registered on the IHA Link and we would like all other members to be registered also. More information can be found on the left hand side of the Irish Hockey website or you can register here. Please help the club administrators and register as soon as possible. It is a simple process and will only take a couple of minutes. When it states that all players are required to be registered it does mean all. If you are not registered then you will not be eligible to play.
Training has now started for all club members on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 - 9 pm. All will be welcome on either night until the season starts and then Junior Club will be the Tuesday night.
The new season is nearly upon us. New league code is 147757-136278 for this year's action. Join by Saturday 16th at 11 am to get points for the first week. Don't worry if you miss this though as you will have another 37 games to catch up! http://fantasy.premierleague.com
The Youth Hockey Clinic will be taking place at Shaw's Bridge from Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th August 2008. Times will be from 10.30am to 3.00pm. This forthcoming hockey clinic will teach the essential skills as well as giving all present the opportunity to play informal matches at their own age group level The Hockey Clinic is essentially a doctor’s surgery for hockey, whereby if a player is having problems with a particular skill they can come to the clinic to consult one of our coaches. The cost for the 3 day course is £50 (or £35 for second/third child). This includes coaching from members of Instonians 1st XI coaching staff and players, and an Instonians branded t-shirt. To register, please complete this form and return to Tom Reid by Friday 1st August 2008.
The All-Ireland League has been re-branded the Irish Hockey League. Instonians will play 5 of the top sides in Ireland over the course of next season on the following dates.
With our first 2 games at home it will be vital that we have as much support as possible on these occasions. The game times have been structured so that all club members can attend so you will have no excuse! Put these dates in your diary now.

End of Season Awards Dinner
The Hockey Club had a great night on Saturday 10th May when 70
players and friends attended the above event.
