Stick Presentation

At a recent School Assembly Instonians Club Captain Neil Cooke and 1stXI player Stephen Reid together with the Instonian Chairman Tom Reid presented hockey sticks to (left to right in photograph) Jonathan McDowell (U13) Richard Stewart (U14) and Conor Dempsey (Senior). The most improved players during the past season in their respective categories. Also include in the photograph is Inst teacher and School 1stXI coach David Wilson.

Our own Paddy Brown has been short-listed for N.I. sports personality of the year 2005 by the BBC. Voting will take place up until the 2nd December, so get voting!

Paddy is nominated for inspiring the Irish hockey team to win the European Nations Cup.
