Youth Section updated with Mercian Youth League Knockout Cup Fixtures.

Ireland off to South Africa

Irish international Paddy Brown and Mark Irwin have virtually said goodbye to Club hockey for the rest of the season as they take time out for Ireland's build up to the World Cup qualifier in China in April.

We wish both players well and trust they will achieve further success with Ireland.

Instonian Chairman Tom Reid wished Mark every success following the youth coaching on Sunday last.

Hockey Clinic

A big thank you to Ricky Lee for all his hard work in organising the above two day event. Ricky's organisation was superb which meant that the 50 boys who attended all really enjoyed it.

A special thank you to Club Captain Neil Cooke and 1stXI squad members Tim Taylor, Andrew Cousins, Chris Barnes, Paul Gleghorne, Graeme Carson, Stuart McWilliams, Anthony Lewis, Stephen Reid and Andrew Seay who all assisted with the coaching.  Haydn Taylor and Barry Feeney kept a watchful eye on proceedings and Bryan Rea helped by collecting stray hockey balls.  A special mention goes to Irish International Mark Irwin, who on Sunday came straight from an Irish training session to the youth coaching to provide help and support.

Thank you also to Belfast City Council who provided support through the presentation of medals and grant support towards the costs.

Club Calendars

Members who have been given Club Calendars to sell please do so ASAP with all monies being returned to your team Captain or direct to Tom Reid.
