UKTV to televise Ireland v England game

The match will be televised by UKTV and will be shown as part of a 90 minute programme on hockey on UKTV G2 at 18:30 hrs on Saturday 12 November with further showings on 13 November 09:00 hrs on UKTV Gold and 19:30 hrs on UKTV People. These stations are available on satellite television.

The programme forms part of a series, UKTV Sport, commissioned by UKTV aimed at encouraging people to participate in sports.   Presented by a strong line-up of presenters – leading sports broadcaster John Inverdale, Olympic gold medalist, Denise Lewis and top Radio DJ and TV presenter Nemone, UKTV Sport promises to unlock the sportsperson in us all.  It will premiere on Saturday 15th October on UKTV G2 and run for 10 weeks.

Recently Retired?

This is an appeal to all of those players who have recently hung up their stick and don't know what to do with themselves on the Saturdays when the golf course is closed.

On a few Saturdays we can struggle to get 5 teams out, especially when the school has an away match.  If the call comes, could you please consider turning out, as it is vital for the future of the club that we continue to field 5 teams on a regular basis.  Also, by turning out in our time of need, we promise that we will not think that a season long commitment has been made.  After all the course could be open again the following week!
