Instonians Win Place in All Ireland League

Following decisive victories at the weekend over Fingal 5-0 and Bandon 6-0 Instonians won a wild card place in next season All Ireland League.

The league will be split into two Sections and Instonians will play in the same Section as ;

Cookstown, Pembroke Wanderers, Glennane, Annadale and Cork Harlequins.

The other Section will be Three Rock Rovers, Lisnagarvey, Banbridge, Monkstown, Cork C of I and Fingal.

Instonians are likely to have three away games and two home games. This is an exciting time for the Club and one which will require considerable ongoing commitment from the 1stXI squad of players.

End of Season Awards Dinner

Awards function including individual player awards for each team as well as Senior and Junior Player Awards, Club Person of the Year and Young Player of the Year.

Team Captains should now submit their individual player nominations.

This is the last event of the season so please lend your support.  Names should be given to your team Captain or Tom Reid.

Junior League 1 Decider

The 2nds play in the league decider against Cookstown away tonight, Tuesday 22nd April.  A win for either side will secure the title.  I'm sure Andy and the boys would appreciate any support you can give them tonight if you can make it.  Passback is at 20:00.

All Ireland League playoffs

Instonians will compete in a 3-way playoff against Fingal and Bandon for the final place in the All Ireland League.  These playoffs will take place on the weekend of 3rd/4th/5th May at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club during the Club Championships.
