What is Crossfield 7s Rugby?

Aim of the Crossfield’s 7s Rugby;

-          Giving players a chance to play outside of Saturday who can’t commit.

-          Attract players back into the game (lost players, work / family commitments, youth transition)

-          Players can be 18-year-old +

-          Social rugby ethos

Matches

-          7 a side (as many subs as you want)

-          ½ A Pitch IS used – Played across the pitch

-          Two matches can be played on a pitch at the same time

-           7min a Half (rolling subs)

-          Line out - 3 players including thrower No lift

-          Scrum – 3 players

-          Blitzes are the last week of the month

-          Months are: Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan. Feb, Mar (total 6 blitzes)

-          Hosted by 6 different clubs.
