Under 11B’s battle hard against CSNI A's

The 11b’s put in a determined performance against a strong CSNI side on Thursday 19th July, falling 69 runs short.

Batting first, CSNI started strongly with the talented Adam Leckey and James West looking impressive. At the half way mark, CSNI were 93 without loss. The bowlers toiled admirably with Lewis Ingram claiming 2 victims in his second after a difiicult first over. Everyone bowled 2 overs with Fred Harrison, Ayaan Kashif and Louis Campbell the most economical. The innings closed on 163 for 2 with extras top scoring!

The boys set about their task with a realistic target of reaching at least 100. A couple of early wickets proved to be a setback but some excellent batting from Adam Boyd and Luke Crothers proved to be the backbone of the reply. Ben Walsh also batted well.

The boys managed 94-9, falling just short of the 100 mark. This was however an excellent effort and the attitude was excellent from start to finish.

Thanks to CSNI for the match.
