1st XV no game This year in the season fixtures there are FREE weekends planned to give players a break, very good idea. 1st XV results: http://www.instonians.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4050&Itemid=169
2nd XV lost 14 - 31 at home to Malone 3rd XV Malone 3rd XV were as you would expect a large physical side. The performance was a step up from the one at Armagh 3rd XV. Some players in particular stood out and will hopefully give the 1st XV coaches a few selection headaches this week. It was good to see three new faces in the backline. There continues to be plenty to work on at training. 2nd XV results: http://www.instonians.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4049&Itemid=170
3rd XV won 40 - 20 at Bangor 3rd XV You could hear the rickety in Belfast The team were 0 – 17 down at half-time but used the strong wind in the 2nd half to have the play entirely in the Bangor half. Some great tries followed. What was most impressive was the smaller Instonians team tackling against some of the big Bangor ball carriers. Good numbers at training is really playing off. 3rd XV results: http://www.instonians.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4048&Itemid=171d[]=4048 |
