Instonians Rugby Newsletter – Tuesday 12th April

Recent results / events

We don’t really know where to start this week.

This year has been about “Instonians getting back to where we belong”

Well this week was certainly the first step on that journey.

A big ship is a hard thing to turn around, to get back on the right direction.

Instonians big ship has been turned and has started its long journey on the right course.

It has been turned due to a huge effort by players, coaches, team support staff, sponsors, supporters, family and friends.

Massive thank you to you all.

The start of a big journey has begun.

Instonians Fundraising Ball – Fri 13th May

Only 20 tickets left!!

PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR CLUB - EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME

Dear Instonian

As you may have heard, our biggest fundraising event for many years is now rescheduled for Friday 13th May. With greatest living All Black, Sean Fitzpatrick as guest speaker, we are looking forward to a really exciting event.

For the avoidance of any doubt, there is no requirement to arrange a full table. Individual tickets for the event are available at https://www.seahorsesminirugby.co.uk/product/fundraising-sports-dinner/

We have set aside a number of ‘club tables’ to ensure any Instonians buying individual tickets will spend the evening with some friendly faces. Please remember that partners are very welcome too.

We are very lucky that the format remains the same and the full original line up is still intact as detailed below -

  • Reception with bubbles and music
  • 3 course meal with a selection of wines
  • Guest speaker Sean Fitzpatrick - greatest living All Black
  • Comedian Tim McGarry
  • Lots of table fun and entertainment
  • DJ and Dancing into the night
  • Evening expertly compared by local Broadcaster Mark Simpson
  • Whilst fundraising for Instonians, we are also using the night to support 'Friends of the Cancer Centre'.

Support Darren Grant in a great cause

Darren is one of those people that a club like Instonians could not run without.

“Should we design a Club App?” – I will run that

“Should we get a supporters bus?” – I will organise that

Etc. Etc.

Now it’s our turn to help Darren:

I’m fundraising for Action Mental Health.

Here’s my JustGiving page, if you’d like to donate: “
