Big Weekend Ahead

There is a busy weekend of cricket coming up which starts tonight (Friday 13th) with the 1st XI playing the first game in Pool A of the Lagan Valley Steels T20 Cup at home to Waringstown.

This promises to be a great night of entertainment with the match starting at 6:00pm and there will be music, bbq and a bar at the bottom pitch so come along and enjoy the evening.

Fri 13th  - 1st XI vs Waringstown HOME - Pool A T20

Sat 14th - 1st XI vs Muckamore AWAY - Challenge Cup R1

             - 4th XI- vs Laurelvale HOME - Junior League 4 (Shaw’s Bridge lower pitch)

Sun 15th - 2nd XI vs Dungannon AWAY - Junior Cup R1

             - 6th XI vs Newforge II HOME - Junior League 9 (Shaw’s Bridge lower pitch)

Nikolai welcomes Nathan Smith

Club 1st XI captain Nikolai Smith today met up with one of our new players for the 2016 season Nathan Smith.

Instonians are delighted to announce that Nathan Smith has joined the club. Nathan who is from Sydney has an Irish Passport and will be Instonians ‘non-resident Irish qualified player’ for the upcoming season.

Robert McKinley joins Instonians

Instonians are delighted to announce that Robert McKinley has joined the club from Ballymena Cricket Club. Robert (22) as well as Ballymena has played for all the Ireland underage groups from U 13s up to U 19s and last year played for the Northern Knights. He attends Loughborough College and plays for the University team. Robert is a fast bowler who can also bat.
