Advance Notice of Cricket AGM

7th September 2010

The Annual General  Meeting of the Cricket Club will be held in the Upstairs Committee Room on Tuesday 5th October 2010, starting at 7.45pm sharp.

All playing and non-playing members are cordially invited to attend to hear reports of the past season, and to elect the officers for the next season.

Put a note in your diary now, and plan to attend.
 
Autumn/Winter Youth Coaching

7th September 2010

Instonians are in discussions with the School to run a Cricket Academy coaching scheme using the facilities at Inst.  The course will be by invitation and is aimed at the top three or four school pupils at each of the Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 age levels.  In addition some places will be found for the best of the Under 11 boys.

Watch the website for confirmation of the course.  Invitations will be issued in due course.
 
1st XI lose final game at Downpatrick

The 1st XI lost their final game of the season by 9 wickets against Downpatrick at Strangford Road on Saturday the 4th of September.
