U21s had a brilliant cup quarter final win 10-7 at home to Enniskillen U21s Match was played under lights on Fri 11th Feb. Blown bulbs on pitch 4 lights meant the match had to be moved to Pitch 1 The standard of rugby and commitment shown by both teams was worthy of our main pitch. Well done to all involved: Enniskillen U21s, Referee and Instonians U21s. It was a real “nail bitter!” Enniskillen did get revenge in the “boat race” held in the bar afterwards. Both these teams have a great relationship and show what this U21s Club Academy is all about. Getting young players out playing rugby with their friends who would otherwise have hung their boots up.
Our U21s now go into the draw for the semi-final with: Instonians Ballyclare Carrick Banbridge Semi-final Wed 2nd March Final Fri 18th March at the Kingspan at 7pm
