Instonians Communication App Instonians 1 App Good communication is the key to success for any relationship, community or organisation. As Instonians Rugby, Hockey and Cricket Clubs go from strength to strength and as our membership continues to grow, effective communication becomes more and more important. With an aging website, countless WhatsApps, Facebook pages, email and text message groups at minis, youth, seniors, administrative and non-playing / supporter levels, the Instonians Executive Committee recently took a unanimous decision to modernise our approach to communication for the benefit of all of our members, locally, nationally and internationally. The concept of Instonians 1 App was born. A single point of truth for anyone interested in Instonians sports. A project team with representation from each of our sports was formed in September 2021 and spent a number of months mapping out the requirement and specification of what an Instonians App should include. It was agreed that it should be able to manage all team, player, supporter and administrator requirements. From payment of membership to changes of training times or team selection to promoting club events or real time live reporting of matches with pictures and video. All members will be in complete control and be able to select the type of information they receive whether they’re in Belfast or Brisbane. Work subsequently began on development of Instonians 1 App in February this year and will be available for download from the App Store in Apple or Android format before the end of September 2022. Please keep an eye on all the usual contact channels (which will eventually disappear) for final details on when you can download Instonians 1 App. Be part of the Instonians community. Be part of Instonians success. Be on Instonians One App. Project Seahorse Project Seahorse has been well received with generous donations coming in regularly. If you haven’t yet had a chance to view the rugby club video and consider making a donation, please have a look https://projectseahorse.co.uk/ Instonians Sports Club - Org Structure and Club Contacts 01-09-22 As we go from strength to strength, effective communication is increasingly important across the Instonians family. It is also important that our members understand how the different sports clubs operate, get to know the volunteers who run them and have access to those individuals if they have questions or wish to get more involved. As such, the Instonians Executive Committee has produced the following document for the benefit of all of our members. This will now be updated annually and released to all members at the beginning of September each year. We hope you find it useful.
