U14 coaching on Monday and Wednesday 18:15 start.

Saturday away at Academy Festival

U16s

U16 won 40-0 away to Ballynahinch.

Maybe the result of the season for the entire club?
Well done to the coaches & players.

Training Wednesday 6:30pm.

Saturday 1st April festival at Civil Service 11am

U18s

U18XV played a friendly against Ballynahinch on Saturday

After a slow start found themselves 14-0 down after 10 minutes.

A gutsy display followed with a converted try from Instonians.

Hinch then scored again making the score 21-7 but Instonians fought back again with another converted try.

However Hinch scored at end of 2nd half making the final score 28-14 to the home side.

Some poor discipline on the day cost the Stones side the match.

Hopefully we will be able to arrange one final fixture.

MOM award went to James Henry.

The lads went back to the Club and watched the 3rd XV’s win against Lisburn 2nd XV.

U21s Academy

“Instonians live” – an experiment in communication

The “Instonians live” is an experiment by harry Mussen to try and streamline the live scores on Saturday afternoons.

At the moment, Harry posts to four Instonian chats, the Ulster Rugby Scores chat and the Energia AIL Div 2 chat.

Often, he resembles a whirling dervish!

WhatsApp have just introduced the Communities function and he is trying to use it to make one post go to all our Instonian chats.

It’s a work in progress and might well be superseded by the Instonians One App.
