Last Saturday evening played in a mini tournament at Civil Service mixed amongst players from Ballymoney, Ophir and Cooke.
Played in four games and had a great time.
Last try of the day was scored by the Seahorse player of the day Caty.

Numbers building and squad is now training with 3rd XV on a Tuesday evening

3rd XV
3rd XV lost 52-23 away to Ballynahinch 4s.
On a good day for rugby on a Saturday afternoon, Instonians 3rd XV came up second best against a strong and organised Ballynahinch 4th XV.
Blooding some new players and trying new combinations the 3rds took to the field.
Despite the result there are plenty of positives to take from the game especially the bonus point being won with a try with the last play of the game.
The coaching group are encouraged by the numbers at training and always welcome new faces so with work-ons to come from Saturday we go into our final two games with optimism.
We wish a speedy recovery to injured players from Saturday, Mark McCready and Richard Maguire.

2nd XV won 40-0 at home to Portadown 2nd XV
Remain unbeaten
The Instonians dominant scrum was lost when a Bangor prop was injured and it had to go to uncontested scrums. We wish him a speedy recovery.
The game was then played in a very physical manner.
When the Instonians team went through the phases, some wonderful tries were scored.
