U12 Girls took part in a Blitz at Banbridge on Sunday.

Grouped together with players from Cooke and Lurgan they played 3 games.

Against teams from Banbridge, Armagh and finally Dundalk.

U12 Girls no training this week as taking part another Blitz.

Shaws Bridge Sports Association’s AGM – Wed 7th Dec at 7.30pm

Instonians Club Secretary wishes to advise members that the Shaws Bridge Sports Association’s AGM is on Wednesday 7th December at 7.30 in the clubhouse.

All members welcome. Make your views and concerns known to those who act on your behalf on running the complex.

Shaws Bridge Monthly Lunches Restart – Fri 9th Dec at 12pm to 2.30pm

“Dear All

The proposal to re-instate the monthly lunches at Shaws Bridge appears to have been enthusiastically received, to the extent that the first lunch has been arranged for.Friday 9^thDecember.

I attended a meeting last night convened by Owen Lambert ,President of the Instonians Club, at which the following arrangements were discussed and I had the opportunity to talk over these with Allen earlier today.

It is envisaged that the lunches will be organised by way of an informal partnership between all sections of the Instonians Club (ie Rugby, Hockey and Cricket) and BOIA . The primary aim is to bring together Instonians of retirement age, but all members of BOIA and the Club are welcome to attend.

It is intended that the event will be from 12pm-2.30pm with lunch served at 1pm. The cost of the first lunch will be £16 per head, to be paid by attendees to the caterer on the day. The meal will consist of a main course ,followed by a dessert /cheese board and coffee.

It is hoped that the lunches will be as informal as possible and for the first on 9^thDecember there will be some words of welcome from the President of the Club, Owen Lambert.

If you and/or any of your friends in the Association would like to attend on Friday 9^thDecember please let me know as soon as possible by reply to this email, so that we can confirm numbers.

When replying if you would let me have your mobile number I can add you to the Group Chat which is being set up to confirm and take bookings for future lunches next year.

Tickets for the Mini Rugby Family Christmas Lunch and Party are on sale again this weekend in the club shop 8:30am - 10am.

Tickets are priced at £10 for kids / £20 for adults. This includes a meal, entertainment and present from Santa.

This is always a popular event so please get down to the club and purchase your tickets early.
