Sat 10th Apr - 3rd XV win their plate final In a year of success we have more: 3rds XV beat Academy 2nd XV 37-17 to win the Foster Plate An entertaining game played out on pitch 1 at Shawsbridge Watched by their biggest crowd of the season There then followed a 3rd XV social, on long into the night. Mon 11th Apr – Instonians U21s win their own tournament The u21s captained by Oscar Dunbar and coached by Rhys O’Donnell and his team, won the Instonians U21s Tournament. 2nd year in a row!! Photos to follow. This is the oldest U21s tournament in Ireland. In terrible conditions, 7 U21s teams gave the crowd plenty to cheer. Match report & photos to follow. Mini Rugby Last week Easter break Ballyclare RFC Mini Festival on Saturday April 15th. They plan to run the festival over 2 sessions 9.30am to 12.30pm approx. (P3-P5) 1.30pm to 4.30pm approx..(P6-P7).

3rd & 4th XV 3rds played Academy 2nds in the final of the Forster Plate Winning 37-17 This week 3rd XV have their last league match: Fri 14th April 7.45pm kick off Home to Banbridge 4s Winner wins the league.

Final AIL battle on Saturday 15th April at Tullamore. LAST CHANCE TO BUY YOUR BUS TICKET!! Supporters bus for the away match against Tullamore RFC in the final match of the AIL.15th April 2023. Bus leaves Shaws Bridge Sports Association (large car park) at 10am. Return bus will leave Tullamore RFC at 5.30pm arriving back at Shaws Bridge at approximately 8.45pm. Now only £10 per ticket!!!! (Entry fee for match not included so don't forget your euros!) First come, first served. Lunch will be €10 per person and will be served at 12.45 for 1pm. How to pay your 22/23 club membership Hello all Please find link below for payment of your 2022/23 Club membership fees. Our apologies that this is so late in the season but due to a number of issues with the release of Instonians 1App, we have had to set up this one-off process to capture fees before the current season concludes. 1App will be up and running shortly and will be used from next season going forward. As you will all be aware, it takes a significant amount of money to keep our Club running and players on the pitch. Our promotion to AIL last season alone instantly added £25,000 in costs to the Club. Membership fees from players at Minis to 1st XV, Non-Playing Members, Pensioner members etc only cover a very small percentage of those costs. The rest is covered by sponsorship, fundraising activities, a small amount of shared bar profit etc. Therefore, every single penny we raise in membership fees is crucial to ensure ongoing success across all of our teams. As such, we are all required to pay our way. No one is exempt.
