Youth Cricket 2022

Welcome to the new 2022 season of Instonians Youth Cricket! To all new players and parents, a particularly warm welcome is extended from the Coaching Team at Instonians.

At Instonians Youth Cricket our Mission Statement is, “Ensuring fun, inclusivity and enjoyment to develop confidence and self-esteem in all our young members through playing Cricket”. The Club puts a strong emphasis on the whole child and as such operates an inclusive approach for all its players. Please sit down with your child and talk through the Codes of Conduct that are in this leaflet. We are nearly ready to get playing again and we have been busy behind the scenes getting ready for what is hopefully a full season of cricket.

The Coaching Team
The coaching team will once again be led by our Director of Youth Cricket James
Cameron Dow. He will be assisted by:
• Ani Chore
• Jonny Waite
• Shane Getkate
• Cade Carmichael
• Cian Robertson
• And various other players from the club

Easter Camp

Wednesday 18.30 - 20.00 Osborne U13 All
Friday 18.30 - 19.45 Shaw's Bridge U9 All

Our emphasis this year is to play as many games as possible rather than run a Sunday morning coaching session.
All those players who represent the NCU Talent teams are invited to train in both their own age group and the age group above. Please also note that some of these players may also play up an age group from time to time.

Heja APP
All communication with be through the Heja app this year. Once you have registered your coach will send out the code for your team. All games and practice sessions will be setup on the app and we would encourage you to keep your notifications turned on as it helps the coaches a huge amount when running practice sessions and picking teams etc.

Summer Camps
James will also be taking summer camps at Osborne for all age groups with dates to follow. We would hugely appreciate as many boys and girls as possible support these as we have obviously made an extra investment in youth this year.

Safe Guarding
The clubs Safeguarding officer is Erica Luke. If you have any queries or issues, please do not hesitate to contact her on 07964 780889 or via e-mail at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
